BULLDOGS
2016
Bulldogs was my first commissioned work, which I wrote and directed under a Random Acts Ignition Network Centre Comission at age 18. BULLDOGS was successfully acquired by Channel 4’s Random Acts following completion.
The film was exhibited during PLAYBACK Festival at the ICA and toured to various venues as part of the PLAYBACK Touring Exhibition. BULLDOGS was also screened at the BFI Southbank, programmed as part of the BFI’s Girlfriends Season.
There’s a lot about the film that I think strongly represents me today as an artist, but a lot that I think has grown to differ now too. To learn more about the film feel free to contact me.
BULLDOGS is an exploration of where any real line can be drawn between playfulness and an attack, and how our perception of playfulness can vary with experience, distance and loss of detail.
